Son of Demócrito Gracindo (politician) who died in 1928 and Argentina Guimarães.
By the times of Radio Nacional Gracindo had a sketch called "Rich cousin & poor cousin". He played the rich, while Brandäo Filho played the poor. The sketch, later transposed to TV, lasted more than 40 years, always with Brandäo and Gracindo.
