- Albin Grau was born on December 22, 1884 in Berlin, Germany. He was an art director and costume designer, known for Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1922), Warning Shadows (1923) and The Love Pirate (1925). He died on March 27, 1971 in Bayrischzell, Upper Bavaria, Germany.
- According to other sources Albin Grau didn't die in 1942 in a concentration camp but was able to escape from Nazi Germany and together with his daughter, emigrated to Switzerland. According to these sources, after the war, he returned to Germany where he died on March 27, 1971.
