'Poldark' star Aidan Turner wants to move to the Us. The heartthrob actor - who plays the title role in the BBC drama - has revealed he's planning on moving to New York to be with his actress girlfriend Sarah Greene, who relocated to the city last year. Speaking to Woman magazine, the 31-year-old actor hunk said: ''I'm thinking of moving to New York soon. That's the great thing, as an actor these days you can be anywhere because a lot of meetings are on Skype. It's not like 10 or 12 years ago when all the Irish actors were in London.

Swashbuckling Poldark star Aidan Turner has viewers swooning with his shirtless and skinny-dipping scenes in the BBC One period drama.

And now the 31-year-old star has let slip the secret to his newfound sex symbol status... baby oil.

Speaking to Katie Glass for The Sunday Times Magazine about his new role as the rugged Captain Ross Poldark in the series remake, Turner explained: "I just didn't see Poldark having a beer belly or being out of shape, given his lifestyle.

"In my next role, I want to grow a beard and put on loads of weight."

On all the legions of loyal fans Turner now has now accrued, he continued: "It's very sweet, very flattering. But to be fair, a lot of it's to do with the character. It's a romantic genre: Poldark's just that type of guy."

About two months from now, we'll see the return of Showtime's Penny Dreadful and its cast of eclectic characters, including Vanessa, Ethan, Dr. Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, Sir Malcolm, Sembene, and more. In the second season there will be "no rest for the wicked", a theme reflected in emotive new character posters featuring the aforementioned familiar faces and others, as well.

Also recently revealed is a new behind-the-scenes video of the photo shoot for the posters, complete with observances on the horrors to come in the sophomore season in which, as Josh Hartnett puts it, "the hunters have now become the prey."

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Homeland star Morena Baccarin has bagged the female lead in Fox’s Deadpool spinoff. The Firefly actress appeared last week on an early shortlist, and in the last seven days, she beat out fellow hopefuls Taylor Schilling, Crystal Reed, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Sarah Greene and Jessica De Gouw.

THR had no clarification on exactly who Baccarin will portray, but simply described her as a love interest for Ryan Reynolds’ scarred assassin. The Merc with a Mouth – as he’s affectionately referred to – will be joined on his first standalone flick by a strong, supporting cast. Alongside Baccarin, we’ll see Silicon Valley’s T.J. Miller in the comedy sidekick role, Game Of Thrones‘ Ed Skrein as the film’s villain, and Haywire‘s Gina Carano as a member of the Morlocks, Angel Dust.

After much deliberation, not to mention the back and forth between studios, Deadpool is finally ready to leap onto the silver screen in exactly one year’s time for his first standalone feature. And to mark the occasion, star Ryan Reynolds has posted a teaser image of a costume prototype; specifically, a sneak peek at the titular vigilante’s mask.

Taking to his personal Twitter account, Reynolds posted the following update from the Vancouver set.

The UK return date for Penny Dreadful has been confirmed.

Season two of John Logan's horror series is premiering on Sky Atlantic on Tuesday, April 28.

The date is two days after the United States broadcast on April 26.

Penny Dreadful, filmed in Dublin, stars Reeve Carney, Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, Josh Hartnett and Rory Kinnear.

I’ve been intrigued by Penny Dreadful but never gave it the time; perhaps now is a good time to catch up with a binge watch as the latest trailer for season 2 makes it even more appealing.

The first trailer for Penny Dreadful's second season has been released.

Timothy Dalton, Harry Treadaway and Danny Sapani are among the cast featured in the video, which is narrated by Eva Green as Vanessa Ives.

The trio are confirmed to reprise their roles as Sir Malcolm, Dr Frankenstein and Sembene respectively, alongside Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear and Billie Piper returning as Dorian Gray, the Creature and Brona.

A number of season two guest stars were recently announced, including Patti LuPone, Douglas Hodge and Sarah Greene.

Penny Dreadful's upcoming run is currently in production in Dublin, Ireland and is expected to air early next year.

We are seeing some cast shakeups for Penny Dreadful‘s second season! Broadway vet Patti Lupone has just been confirmed as a new cast member for the second season of the thriller. American Horror Story: Coven fans who enjoyed renowned Broadway actress Patti LuPone’s turn as the murderous mother next door may be drawn to Season 2 of Showtime’s Penny Dreadful series, as LuPone has been announced to play a key guest-starring role connected to Eva Green’s character. Several other guest stars have been revealed and two actors have been bumped up to series regulars.

According to Variety, LuPone will join a Season 2 guest star roster that includes Douglas Hodge, Sarah Greene and Jonny Beauchamp:

“Hodge will play an intense Scotland Yard investigator named Bartholomew Rusk who is on the hunt to discover who is responsible for the terrible murders that have been plaguing London. Greene will play Hecate, the powerful daughter of Helen McCrory’s Evelyn Poole, and Beauchamp has the vague and mysterious character description of a “young man with a singular past.”

“Penny Dreadful” is beefing up its cast big-time as it prepares for its second season. The “Showtime” drama has cast Patti LuPone as a guest star for Season 2. After a memorable turn as the God-fearing Joan Ramsey on American Horror Story, EW has learned that LuPone will be heading over to Showtime to guest star on Penny Dreadful. The Americans star Matthew Rhys has joined the cast of Bradley Cooper's culinary movie.

The actor will play a rival chef who gets in Cooper's way when he sets out to obtain a Michelin three-star rating, Deadline reports.

The film was recently given its third title - Untitled John Wells Project - until another name can be decided upon.

Cooper and co-star Sienna Miller have been photographed filming in London in recent weeks, including scenes at the Burger King restaurant in Leicester Square.

The Weinstein Co-produced project will also star Daniel Bruhl, Emma Thompson, Uma Thurman, Lily James, Jamie Dornan, Riccardo Scamarcio and Sarah Greene.

Uma Thurman has joined the cast of Adam Jones, which also stars Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The film, which recently changed its title from Chef, is about a rockstar chef (Cooper) who is pursuing his dream of his own kitchen and a third Michelin star. He teams up with Helene (Miller) to achieve his aspirations.

Thurman's role in the film is not yet known.

Widely regarded as the Oscars of Broadway, the 2014 Tony Awards went off without a hitch on Sunday night (June 8) in New York City.

Hugh Jackman took over the Radio City Music Hall with his amazing hosting talents and welcomed many performers on stage including Idina Menzel and Neil Patrick Harris.

As for the winners, Harris and Jessie Mueller (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) took home the prize for Best Actor and Best Actress in a Musical, respectively, while Bryan Cranston ("All The Way") and Audra McDonald ("Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill") scored a win for Best Actor and Actress in a Play, respectively.

At the end of the show, the musical, which follows a destitute man looking to remove the eight ahead of him inline for a title, won four awards Sunday. Gentleman’s Guide won for best musical, book of a musical, director and costume design.

How I Met Your Mother actor Neil Patrick Harris, who has previously been a favorite Tony host, picked up his first award – best lead actor in a musical – for starring in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Hedwig won for best musical revival, and Harris’ costar Lena Hall won best featured actress in a musical.
