- Lewis Green grew up in Philadelphia and moved to Los Angeles where he promptly quit college and began work on film sets. This work included over 300 TV commercials and a four year apprenticeship with Emmy Award winning director Jackie Cooper (MASH, Trapper John, MD, The White Shadow). In the years that followed, Mr. Green worked on film crews in various capacities and for almost every major studio including Universal, MGM and Columbia Pictures. He went on to become a professional screenwriter, working as a full-time writer in "Hollywood" for twelve years. He has written and developed stories for producers such as David Kirshner, John Davis, Jeffrey R. Neuman and directors such as Barbet Schroeder and Raul Ruiz.
Mr. Green has written twenty-four screenplays with over a dozen sold, optioned or commissioned by various entertainment companies. He has writing or producing credits on five films which have included directors such as Peter Hall and Reuben Preuss and have starred such actors as Antonio Banderas, Rebecca DeMornay, Dennis Miller, Jennifer Beals, Scott Glen, Theresa Russell, Daniel Baldwin, Martin Sheen and F. Murray Abraham.
In 1998, he began to devote time to his passion for black and white photography and theatre. His stage plays include "Release" and "The New Patient" which he plans to adapt for the screen. His work in theatre led him to study acting at Jeff Goldblum's Playhouse West and later with Chris Fields at NoHo Studios.
In 2002, Mr. Green decided to move to Europe to enhance his personal and artistic life. There he worked as writer-producer on development of the feature film "Dudes" with Studio Hamburg World Wide Pictures and the romantic comedy "Big Spender" for TV60 Film in Munich. His latest work, "Wo Ist Bahnhof?" is a multi-cultural sex comedy in development with Novapool Artists in Berlin.
In 2003 he returned to Southern California and founded LG Home Products to satisfy his desires as an inventor. That somehow led him to Asia (Why am I talking about myself in the 3rd person here?
