Per Grundén was born on 23 May 1922 in Eskilstuna, Södermanlands län, Sweden. He was an actor, known for Sköna Helena (1951), The Jonsson Gang & Dynamite Harry (1982) and Beware of the Jonsson Gang! (1981). He was married to Susanne Gneiser. He died on 6 February 2011 in Trosa, Södermanlands län, Sweden.

His father was Gustaf Grundén and his mother Greta Grundén.

In 1958 he was given the Austrian honorary title Kammersänger.

Was an opera singer at Volksoper in Vienna 1953-1963.
