Mari Haig
- Actress
- Composer
- Music Department
Mari began her entertainment on stage at the early age 3 when she
starred in a variety of plays and musical pageants. Her lineage as an
actress/musician was handed down from one generation to another
beginning with her grandmother who was an actress in the Caucasus and
her mom as a playwright, having written many of Mari's early
performances.
The gifted singer, comedian, ventriloquist, cartoon artist and musician appears regularly in many of Southern California's theaters and concert halls performing everything from Rock to classical concertos on piano, clarinet, flute, viola, cello, and violin. She's appeared throughout the U.S. and Europe with such greats as Stevie Wonder, Lionel Ritchie, Mannheim Steamroller, and has recorded dozens of CDs and movie soundtracks.
When it comes to her other great passion, acting, Mari's philosophy is simple: "Acting is like playing a violin - the violin bow is your voice and you tell a story every time you play a note, and what comes out is your very own and never the same way twice."
