Suits is one of the best and most popular legal dramas that managed to make the profession of lawyer cool again. Created by Aaron Korsh, the USA Network series follows Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who has a photographic memory and joins Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) at a prestigious law firm. The only problem with that is Mike didn’t actually go to law school and he doesn’t have a degree about which he has to lie to everyone. Suits ran for 9 brilliant seasons and ended its run in 2019. So, if you loved the witty banter, high stakes, and compelling characters in Suits here are some similar brilliant shows you should check out next.

Netflix has just released the trailer for the new raunchy high school comedy from the Chernin brothers — Dave Chernin and John Chernin — who are veterans of irreverent shows It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the tragically cut-short Fox sitcom The Mick. The Chernins reunite with The Mick‘s Kaitlin Olson and Thomas Barbusca in Incoming. The cast includes Mason Thames, Ramon Reed, Raphael Alejandro, Isabella Ferreira, Bardia Seiri, Loren Gray, Ali Gallo, Scott MacArthur, Thomas Barbusca, Kim Hawthorne, Victoria Moroles, Kayvan Shai, with Kaitlin Olson and Bobby Cannavale.
The short but sweet synopsis reads,
“Incoming is the story of one night in the life of a group of high school freshmen, the party they crash, and the chaos that ensues.”
Dave and John Chernin write and direct the film. The producers on the movie include Nicholas Stoller, Conor Welch, Todd Garner, Mark Korshak, Gary Barber, Peter Oillataguerre, Peter Principato and Ben Silverman.

It's set for an end-of-summer release just before all the kids go back to school. Four freshmen are faced with the greatest challenge for their young lives: their first high school party. Directed by brothers John and Dave Chernin (of "The Mick" series), Incoming is full of all kinds of wild & crazy things going down. Creating their own party comedy, the Chernins add: "We landed on the title of Incoming and realized, 'Oh, this is four freshmen having this weird early-life identity crisis.' That kind of became the engine..." This stars Mason Thames as Benj, Ramon Reed as Eddie, Raphael Alejandro as Connor, Isabella Ferreira as Bailey, Bardia Seiri as "Koosh", Loren Gray, Ali Gallo, Scott MacArthur, Thomas Barbusca,...

Peacock’s “Mrs. Davis” is a juicy blend of absurd humor, technological malaise, cheeky action/adventure, and magician con artists. Not to mention a medieval quest in the age of smartphones and a bold stance on the viability of falafel with pineapple in it. At its simplest, the show is perhaps a parable about how mankind creates God, and so God becomes obsessed with why a nun in Reno won’t talk to her and sends her on a quest to find the Holy Grail. Really.
As much as the success of the “Mrs. Davis” tone rests on creators Damon Lindelof and Tara Hernandez and the writing team and directors, it is equally on the cast members to bring that manic, incredibly Reno energy to life. So Lindelof and Hernandez turned to casting director Victoria Thomas to structure an audition process that could find actors able to handle the show’s many layers simultaneously.

The fifth and final season of “Greenleaf” will premiere June 23, Own announced Tuesday, and the network is also in development with Lionsgate on a spinoff series.
The final season of “Greenleaf” sees the megachurch at the center of the drama in danger of being torn down, in addition to relationships being tested. It is not yet known where the spinoff will pick up, or which characters it will follow, but it will come from “Greenleaf” creator and executive producer Craig Wright.
Own said the plan for “Greenleaf” was always for the series to span five seasons with a possible spinoff to follow, but “plans accelerated” due to the outpouring of support from the audience when it was announced that the fifth season would, in fact, be the final one.

The made-for-tv movie was a programming staple for the broadcast networks in the 1970s and 1980s. While it fell out of favor in the 1990s and was even dropped as an Emmy Awards category for three years beginning in 2011, it has been on an upswing as of late. This year, 21 telefilms are in contention for the five nominations that will be revealed on July 12.
All 22,000 plus voting members of the TV academy have until June 24 to cast their 2019 Emmy Awards nominations ballots for their favorite TV movies. In the past, voters were limited in the number of telefilms that they could put forth. In 2017 that cap (which was usually 10 per category) was lifted. And, as opposed to the Oscars, voters for the Emmys do not rank their choices and nominees are determined by a simple tally.
