Beloved fans of the Bachelor franchise will certainly know who Emily Maynard is. She was both vying for love on The Bachelor and later became the lead on The Bachelorette.

Emily didn't end up finding her forever partner on either reality TV show, but she did end up marrying a man named Tyler Johnson. The two wed in 2014 and have since welcomed five children. Emily is also the mother to an older daughter named Ricki, who is named after her late father, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, who died in 2004.

In October, Emily took to social media to mourn her late fianc as this year marks the 20th anniversary of his death.

Nine years after it disappeared from cable TV channel lineups, Speedvision is preparing to rev up its engines again.

The cable channel — which catered to automotive enthusiasts and racing fans from its launch in 1995 until Fox shut it down in 2013 — is being revived as a free ad-supported streaming network (the acronym being, appropriately, a Fast platform), with some high-profile backing.

Among the backers of the new Speedvision are Robert Scanlon, a co-founder of the original cable channel who most recently oversaw the Velocity and Motor Trend businesses for Discovery Inc.; Joe Abbruzzese, who was previously the president of advertising sales for Discovery; wrestling superstar Bill Goldberg; and automotive and racing magnate Rick Hendrick.

Scanlon will serve as the company’s president, while Abbruzzese will advise on ad sales and sponsorships. Goldberg is expected to appear as talent in some of the network’s programming.

Barrett-Jackson was the epicenter for raising much-needed funds and awareness on behalf of deserving charities nationwide at its 48th Annual Scottsdale Auction, January 12-20, 2019, at WestWorld of Scottsdale.

During the weeklong premier automotive lifestyle event, Barrett-Jackson raised $9.6 million, which includes donations made on the block beyond the hammer prices, and is the largest amount raised at one auction in the company’s 48-year history. To date, Barrett-Jackson has raised over $114 million for charity. The energy in the auction arena was tangible as celebrities – including Emmy and Golden Globe award-winner Gary Sinise, singer/songwriter Ray J, Nascar legends, Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer and top auto manufacturers – joined the Barrett-Jackson team to sell some of the most rare and desired cars.

The infamous rivalry between Nascar legends Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon will be examined in a new Fox Sports documentary that premieres on Feb. 14.

“Unrivaled: Earnhardt vs. Gordon” goes under the hood of racing stars’ relationship both on and off the track, TheWrap has exclusively learned.

Seven-time champion Earnhardt and four-time champion Gordon were polar opposites in everything, from their racing style and personal backgrounds to car paint jobs and their fanbases. While they were bitter enemies behind the wheel, the two were actually close friends.

I came to the current season of The Bachelorette with the zeal of the newly converted.
