- Hans Hermann Schaufuß was born on July 13, 1893 in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. He was an actor, known for Der Mann, der nicht nein sagen kann (1938), Don Juan (1922) and Eine kleine Nachtmusik (1939). He died on January 30, 1982 in Munich, Bavaria, West Germany.

A noted character comedian and cabaret performer ('Tingeltangel', 'Musenschaukel', etc.) of the 1930's. Had a lengthy career on screen as a versatile supporting player (1922-75), latterly a popular guest in TV crime series. Ensemble member of the Munich Residenztheater from 1950 to 1958.
