Made his WWF TV debut on Raw is War, Smackdown! Sunday Night Heat by saying to other wrestlers that another wrestler said something about them, then those two wrestlers would fight on that night. When asked who he was, he'd would say "Joe...just Joe".

Wrestles independently as 'Joe E. Legend'.

Formed a formidable team with Sexton Hardcastle aka Adam Copeland (otherwise known as Edge), and the two called themselves Sex and Violence.
