Max Hoffman Jr. was born on 13 December 1902 in Norfolk, Virginia, USA. He was an actor, known for Radio Patrol (1937), Freckles Comes Home (1942) and Sergeant Murphy (1938). He was married to Luana Walters, Helen Kane, Thelma White and Norma Terris. He died on 31 March 1945 in New York City, New York, USA.

A small-part actor, he was briefly married to <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0437318/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Helen Kane</a>, the
&quot;boop-boop-a-doop&quot; girl of &quot;Betty Boop&quot; fame.

The April 1, 1945 edition of the Reading Eagle contains an article that states that Dr. B. Morgan Vance, Chief Assistant Medical Examiner for New York City, gives Hoffman&#39;s death as being from natural causes. No other cause of death is given.

Died two hours after his fourth wife, actress <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0910294/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Luana Walters</a>, found him collapsed in his hotel room.
