Netflix is dipping into the world of Dutch reality with a series following Yolanthe Cabau’s journey to LA, while the streamer is adapting Saskia Noort’s The Dinner Club.

The Spanish-Dutch An Egypt Affair star will be the focus of a show that was unveiled at a Next on Netflix event in Amsterdam this afternoon.

In the untitled reality series, cameras will follow Cabau as she leaves the Dutch capital for Tinseltown with son Xess Xava. As she faces her past, the audience discovers why Cabau, who used to be married to Dutch soccer star Wesley Sneijder, left the limelight, and which childhood secrets continue to haunt her.

“I made a conscious decision to step out of the spotlight for a while to focus on myself and Xess,” she said. “The past few years have been challenging, but I can confidently say that I am more empowered than ever.

In her entertaining Mipcom fresh content presentation on Tuesday, Virginia Mouseler, CEO and co-founder of the Geneva-based TV think tank The Wit, put the focus on hit new shows powered by a cast of angry women.

Mouseler’s selection of fresh TV began with the BBC’s crime thriller “Vigil,” which revolves around a lesbian cop sent to investigate a murder on a submarine. “The deeper you go, the darker it gets,” runs the tag line.

“What I thought was interesting was the evolution of the female cop character,” she said. “She’s a lesbian and she’s sent to a men’s world and has to deal with her own vulnerability.”

A group of women are planning to skydive in their lingerie later this month. According to ABC News, the jump has been scheduled for November 17. Washington, Nov 9: 7 women are planning to jump from an airplane near Lake Elsinore, California, wearing nothing but parachutes and their lingerie, so that they can face their fears.

Jennifer Hoffman and Marisa Gallegos, founders of Esme and Eve Photography in Los Angeles, will be jumping with 5 other women, who have faced something traumatic in their lives like death in the family, coping with being a rape victim, or overcoming an eating disorder.

The jump is part of Esme and Eve's "Be Bold. Take the Leap" initiative, in which Hoffman and Gallegos urge women "to face their fears, take a risk and push against whatever is holding them back from carrying out their dreams."

Lakisha Hoffman & Jennifer Hoffman won "Amazing Race 18." Tonight's 2-hour finale episode kicked off with past scenes from the show. Then the teams had to go to Rio de Janeiro,Brazil. All the teams ended up catching the same flight,so they were even at this point. Once there,they had to catch a cab and race to a trolley that took them them to the Escadaria Selaron steps to get their next clue. After that, the teams ran into a Road Block. In the Road Block, one member of each team had to lead a samba parade in traditional Carnival costumes,and had to master the dance for the judges to get their next clue. Mallory who is a lifelong dancer and former beauty contestant, got the steps easily and finished first,which put her and Gary in the lead.
