Apple TV+ really is an underrated streamer. I feel like the platform has a lot to offer, but sometimes it's difficult to compete with the bigger companies like Netflix and Max. They kind of dominate the playing field. But, that doesn't mean you're not going to find great content on Apple TV+ like Shrinking.
And that's why you're here, right? You've watched the comedy-drama, liked it, and now would like something else to fill your time as we await Shrinking season 2. Well, it won't be long now! The second season premieres Oct. 16. But, it is still a while which means you have plenty of time to start watching something new! Here's 5 good Apple TV+ shows like Shrinking to check out now.

With an International Panorama spangled by gems – think Spain’s “Apagón,” Sweden’s “Blackwater,” and Canada’s “Disobey” and “Little Bird” – Series Mania also weighs in this year with one, if not the, strongest and most mouthwatering of international competitions in its history.
Including the opening and closing series, Amazon’s “Greek Salad” and Netflix’s “Transatlantic,” nearly all the global streamers have titles in the lineup, from Apple TV+’s “Drops of God” and Paramount+’s “Fleeting Lies.” The lineup also features some A-List international writing talents, such as the U.K.’s Jack Thorne and Israel’s Ron Leshem and Amit Cohen, whose “The Virtues” and “No Man’s Land” rank among the most memorable of recent Series Mania competition titles, and closing the festival, out of competition, “Unorthodox’s” Anna Wenger.”Fleeting Lies” also represents one of the first series from Pedro and Agustín Almodóvar’s El Deseo label in Madrid,...

Jodie Comer is set to make her UK stage debut in the premiere of Suzie Miller’s play Prima Facie.
The Killing Eve star will play Tessa in this one-person play, a young, brilliant barrister who loves to win and has worked her way up from working class origins to be at the top of her game, prosecuting, cross-examining and lighting up the shadows of doubt in any case. An unexpected event forces here to confront the lines where patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof and morals diverge.
Prima Facie is directed by Justin Martin and performances begin on Friday April 15 at the Harold Pinter Theatre for a strict limited 9-week season.
Comer has most recently starred in 20th Century Studios’ Free Guy and The Last Duel, directed by Ridley Scott. She first hit the international scene with her role in Killing Eve. Next year she’s reunited...

Explorations of mental health have become increasingly common in comedy-dramas over the last few years, from “Lady Dynamite” to ”You’re The Worst” to ”Fleabag.” Something about the structure of a 22-minute, often short season show lends itself perfectly to the topic, allowing for an equal balance of seriousness and levity.

So, who’s ready for a nostalgic hop across the pond? But really, after a couple of months lockdown, who’s not up for that? And what kind of nostalgia, any particular decade? Why let’s bounce back to the wild, weird 1990s. Oh really? Now I know how my folks felt when we went crazy for the 50’s back in the late 70s. But there’s one thing all those eras have in common: rock n’ roll, or the more encompassing “pop music”. Toss in lotsa’ family drama, some “coming of age” angst, and a smidgen of snoggin’ and you’ve got this flick’s recipe. Actually it’s more of an instructions guide, but don’t let the title lure you into thinking that it’s a reboot (or “re-imagining”) of the John Hughes teen fantasy Weird Science. Nope, that’s not the gist of this self-empowerment manual...

Fresh off his Oscar nomination for his work in “Can You Ever Forgive Me,” Richard E. Grant is set to star as a legendary drag queen in the film adaptation of the popular British stage musical “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.”
“Catastrophe” star Sharon Hogan and “Happy Valley” star Sarah Lancashire also join newcomer Max Harwood, who plays the young lead Jamie, in the film.
“Everybody’s Talking About Jamie” is based on the stage production inspired by the true story of Jamie Campbell, a 16-year-old boy who became a drag queen. The musical is originally inspired by a BBC documentary, “Jamie: Drag Queen at 16,” and it explores how Jamie overcomes prejudice and the bullies at his school to become a drag sensation.

Yes, Valentine’s Day was over a week ago, but many longtime couples are still trying to rekindle that special spark in their relationship. Of course that “Fifty Shades” flick is still in theatres, but maybe they don’t want to have some time together that could leave some bruises that others would question (guess you didn’t yell “red’ quickly enough). The 2010 comedy Date Night had Tina and Steve getting away from their kids, and getting mixed-up in a high-octane crime caper. What if the couple are childless and want to enjoy some time with similar couples (now just get those Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice jokes about that 1969 classic out of your dirty minds)? Well, the year before that “date” flick there was the Couples Retreat romp, but that was an exotic vacation locale. A more casual weekly get-together, just eating cheese, drinking wine, and setting out those Milton Bradley...

David Spade will play the lead in ABC's "Bad Management" pilot, EW reports.
The plot revolves around an egotistical female boss (Sharon Hogan) at a luxury goods department store, who finds the status quo affected when the owner's son (Spade) joins the company and wants to target a younger demographic using hot trends and sex. Spade will be joined by the pilot's writer/executive producer Rachael Harris, who will play another employee at the store.
The pilot will be in second position to Spade's "Rules of Engagement," the resilient backup player that CBS often relies on to fill holes in its midseason schedule. If the bubble show is finally cancelled, Spade will be free to move on to "Management," otherwise the ABC comedy will have to find a new lead.
