As a stuntman, Carlton doubled actors Arsenio Hall, Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Danny Glover, as well as others. He fought Jean-Claude Van Damme in "Lionheart" and Eddie Murphy in "Coming To America" and "The Nutty Professor.".
Carlton's mother is half African American, half Native American. His father was from Guyana and was Portuguese, Black and Asian.
