- In the 19th century followed engagements on other stages in Munich and Berlin, later also in his home country Austria again, among others at the Raimundtheater in Vienna and the Viennese Volkstheater.
- He entered the film business in 1912 and made his screen debut with "Der Unbekannte" (1912). Because the stage remained his main activity field there were only few more silent movies in the next years.
- Besides his activity as an actor Hans Homma was also responsible as a director during the 20s.
- After a longer interruption he made his comeback in the sound film era with "Frühjahrsparade" (1934).
- The actor Hans Homma already joined the theater at the age of 19 when he started his career in Olmütz.
- Due to a serious illness, he had to give up his profession prematurely.
