Carolyn Houlihan was a slim and attractive brunette actress who only
appeared in two movies in the early 80s during her regrettably fleeting
cinematic career. Carolyn won the Miss Ohio USA title in 1979 and was a
contestant in the Miss USA beauty pageant. She was memorably sweet and
sexy as the fetching Karen in the superior slasher cult favorite "The
Burning." Alas, following her small part as a bathing suit model in the
comedy "A Little Sex" Carolyn Houlihan abruptly stopped acting and
dropped out of show business.
