Eric Lewis, CAS is Senior Audio Recording Mixer, specializing in Dialogue for Animation, at Studiopolis, Inc., located in Studio City and Burbank.
Eric is an Active and Award-Winning Member of the Cinema Audio Society. In addition to three other CAS award nominations, he has been honored with seven Daytime Emmy nominations, including back-to-back Sound Recording nominations for the animated WB show, "Young Justice (2010)", nominated for Outstanding Sound Editing in a Preschool Animated Program for If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (2015) in 2018, and received four nomination in 2019 which included a win for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Preschool Animated Program for Vampirina (2017).
With over 21 years of experience at the same full-production audio recording/mixing facility, Eric has had the opportunity to record dialogue for both feature and television animation; as well as video games, commercials, toys, trailers, feature ADR, audio books, feature commentary tracks, and more. He is a specialist at recording live, ensemble performances for action-oriented animation.
Raised with an awareness of classic ensemble radio productions such as the Lone Ranger, Eric strives to bring that live-in-the-studio feel to each mixed recording. His work can be heard on dozens of kindergarten, preteen, teen, and adult shows airing daily on cable TV, as well as all major streaming services and online.
Eric is married to Virginija Lewis, with whom he raises their sons and daughter, Rokas, Lukas and Zoe, in Winnetka, CA, a western portion of Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. He is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, with a bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences. Prior to studio work , Eric was the producer of the late-night radio show, "The House of Payne, hosted by Chris Payne on Chicago's former top-rated active-rock station, WRCX-FM, "Rock 103.5."
