Raymond Parsons is a filmmaker based in the greater-Seattle area.
Raymond purchased his first film camera in 1995 and was immediately obsessed with photography. After just a few days, he returned the camera to the store because it seemed liked too much money to spend at the time. Shortly thereafter, he acquired the same camera and would keep it to this day. It was unbeknownst to Raymond at the time that it was start his photography and later, filmmaking journey.
In late 2005, Raymond made the move into digital photography and his passion of photography became an obsession. For several years, Raymond would focus his efforts on photographing wildlife and landscapes in Washington state. Raymond's full-time job in software engineering allowed him to continue to upgrade his equipment over the years.
In late 2017, Raymond would expand beyond photography and entered into the world of capturing videos, at first with a newly purchased drone. This was the beginning of what would become an obsession with videography which would soon turn into an obsession with filmmaking.
Today, Raymond leverages his nearly 20 years of photography experience to produce compelling content in the video world. He is an incredibly driven person who dedicates himself to every project that he oversees, films and contributes to. Raymond is committed to the art of storytelling and looks beyond the camera as he brings stories to life. Raymond's attention to detail and highly organized manner allow him to produce compelling content in an efficient fashion.
When not making films, Raymond enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also enjoys skiing, golf and pickleball.
