Raj Gangani
- Producer
Raj Gangani is a seasoned Indian executive producer and film producer, best known for his work under his own banner, Gangani Film Production (later renamed Gangani Motion Pictures). He is the younger brother of the well-known, award-winning writer, director, and producer Jashwant Gangani.
Raj began his journey in the Indian film industry in 1998 with the Gujarati film "Man Saybani Mediye (1999)", taking his first step as an executive producer. With a sharp understanding of film production and a strong grip on the management side of filmmaking, he quickly carved a niche for himself. His keen eye for production value and team leadership helped lay the foundation for many successful ventures.
In 2001, he gained widespread recognition as the executive producer of the blockbuster Gujarati film "Maiyar Ma Mandu Nathi Lagtu (2001)", a project that not only became a commercial hit but also elevated the profile of regional Gujarati cinema. Riding on that success, Raj continued to manage and co-produce quality films, including the government award-winning "Mai To Palvade Bandhi Preet", which reaffirmed his contribution to the cultural landscape of Gujarat through cinema.
From 2015 onwards, Raj expanded his horizons to the Hindi film industry (Bollywood), where he contributed as executive producer for the film "Bezubaan Ishq", further diversifying his portfolio. Not one to limit himself, he continued supporting Gujarati cinema with fresh, youth-oriented content such as the 2024 film "My Best Friend Daadu", followed by the upcoming 2025 urban comedy "Avava De", again under his leadership as executive producer.
Through the years, Raj Gangani has played an instrumental role in building and growing the Gangani Motion Pictures banner. His commitment to quality storytelling, production excellence, and consistent support for both regional and national cinema has left a lasting impact on the industry.
