David A. Margulis(II)

I don't recall even imagining I would be doing anything with film when I was younger. The closest thing I wanted to do with media was journalism and writing. After graduating high school I enlisted in the Air Force where I served honorably at multiple bases from 2006-2015 wherein I became a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO). After being medically retired in 2017 I decided to follow my passions and moved to Ventura, CA, where I studied Film Production at Santa Barbara Community College. After being displaced by St. Thomas Aquinas Fire I transferred and ended up at ASU, #1 for INNOVATION! It's been a blessing to have come a long way and find fulfillment and true enjoyment in helping people make their artistic dreams become real. I had a major operation in 2019, during the grueling recovery I envisioned my dream which is to make an LLC and create films. My new parts took awhile to get adjusted to yet I had the feeling I was at the beginning of a new dawn, hence New Dawn Productions LLC. The people who care matter to me, because they helped make me who I am today. While my body has limited me in some ways my heart beats passionately for such productions. They say that a production that has heart tends to bleed into the final product. Yes it's true, and worth it to a production that truly matters. These are the types of projects, sets, and people I like to surround myself with. Due to my limitations I prefer not to work solo, I do however have several top notch associate producers that I partner with. I make it my aim that we synergistically navigate, sometimes even trail blaze our way through accomplishments. Hire me for your most important film, the one that matters.
