Through its remarkable 25-season run, premier Law & Order spinoff Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has featured many classic moments.

From Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and Olivia Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) burgeoning chemistry to the ripped-from-the-headlines cases to basically everything Ice-t’s Fin Tutuola says, fans have had plenty of things to latch onto. Directed by James Wan from a screenplay by Ian Mackenzie Jeffers that was based on a novel by Death Wish author Brian Garfield, Death Sentence has the following synopsis: Nick Hume is on his way home from a hockey game with his son, Brendan, and stops for gasoline. Helplessly he sees a street thug kill Brendan while robbing the station. Believing the justice system will fail him, Nick goes after the killer himself, setting off a war between him and the killer’s older brother.

CSI alum Gary Dourdan will take on the lead role of Adam Turner in Memoria, an indie sci-fi drama written by Alice Del Corso. Production-Finance company, Buffalo 8, has come on board to executive produce the project. Philip Thomas Morelli is directing the film, which is set in the near future where a special high-tech device that expands brain potential has created a wide gap in society. A social worker with a secret identity has got five days to unveil a dark truth hidden by a powerful scientist and save his family from harm. Jordan Garrett and Grady Craig are the executive producers on behalf of Buffalo 8, which is part of BondIt Media Capital. Production is slated to take place sometime next year in Atlanta, Georgia.
