Lara Newell

Known for her role as Abigail Daumoinx in A Dark Light Shivers (2022), Lara Newell is a diverse and skilled performer. A recent graduate of University of Leeds with a BSc in Psychology, as well as thrice University Cheerleading and Street Dance National Champion, Newell has worked on various film and television productions, alongside her studies; featuring in Saltburn, One Day and EastEnders.
The daughter of Turkish and Northern Irish parents, Newell remains closely in touch with her heritage and does not shy away from sharing her culture. In 2024, Newell completed a Theatre in Education Tour across Turkey, teaching English as a foreign language through a stage adaptation of Willy Wonka. This experience allowed her to reconnect with her Turkish heritage, as well as inspire students across the country.
Whilst writing scripts and songs of her own, as well as creating UGC videos for various companies, Newell is set to perform for TUI Blue x Live Business over the next 8 months, in Crete, Greece.
She holds British, Turkish and Irish citizenship, making her eligible to work visa-free in the UK, Turkey and EU.
