All right, Tia & Tamara fans…get ready for Tia and…Tara?! That's right, one half of the Style Network's twin twosome, Tia Mowry, has teamed up with yoga guru Tara Stiles to create two yoga DVDs that can help you destress while you lose weight! How do all those celebrities stay in such great shape? Well, it's not by eating these 6 foods!
FitSugar recently polled a few celebrity trainers to find out which foods they would never recommend and a couple of items on the list are quite surprising.
Tara Stiles said to stay away from alcohol. “No one wants to hear this one, but if you want your body to operate optimally and look fantastic — and younger — avoid alcohol," Stiles said.
Lady Gaga's trainer, Harley Pasternack, says grapes and bananas are not your friend. “No one is going to live a shorter life if they have bananas or grapes,” Pasternack said. “A banana is just the densest piece of fruit that you can put in your body, and since it doesn’t have much fiber, it won’t keep you full. Grapes have a special sugar in them called dextrose, which is the...

Jane Fonda is back and hotter than ever. For the first time in over 15 years, at the age of 72 (though you'd never know it by looking at her), she is releasing a two DVD set for the senior crowd called Prime Time. In a recent Facebook chat with viral video producer Lisa Nova and a handful of bloggers, Jane talked about why doing an exercise series for people of her generation is important and how exercise has changed since the '80s.
Like thousands of other aerobic-crazed women in the '80s and '90s we used to "drive the big truck" with Jane on her original workout tapes. The actress-turned-political-activist pretty much invented the genre. She pointed out, "I didn't create the workout, but I put it on video and I popularized it and that changed everything. It created a fitness industry... It also opened...

Let’s be honest, most of the content verticals that Next New Networks has been rolling out over the past few years haven’t exactly helped our love handles. A foodie network called Hungry Nation? Dan Delaney’s food truck exploits on VendrTV suddenly made Philly Cheesestake Hot Dogs cool again. And oogling the latest Obama Girl video might have something to do with our increasingly sedentary lifestyle. Even Auto-tune The News made cable news fun again. So thankfully, the popular online “network of networks” has decided to make good on their New Year’s Resolution (or at least ours) and is trying to get us all back in shape. Today the company launched ClickFitness, aimed at promoting “active and health-conscious lifestyles,” with three new original web series—Sarah Dussault’s Sarah’s Fit Show, Tara Stiles Yoga and Alycia Kluegl’s Empower Your Body. The three new series are...
