Ian Welfley graduated Cum Laude from James Madison University with a double degree in Communications and Media Arts & Design.
He discovered his love of screenwriting through the school's writing program and went on to write six feature length scripts and four short scripts in their time as a student.
His debut film, "Home of the Brave", went on to win several awards, including Best Narrative Short at the 2022 Virginia Film Festival, the first JMU film to ever do so.
His second film, "Curtain Call", was runner-up for Best Indie Short at the Los Angeles Film Awards.
