Felipe Viel is one of the most charismatic and versatile Hispanic TV
personalities in the U.S.
Felipe has been the co-host of Telefutura's (Univision's sister network) "Escándalo TV," since it's launch on 2002. His spontaneous style, sense of humor, and his own character 'Franchis Mozzo' have helped him gain the love of his viewers. He is also the host of the show "Feim Fix" as "Franchis Mozzo" and "Armando Bronca" on the YouTube channel Nuevon.
This past January 2012, Felipe was recognized by the "Woman in the Arts" Foundation as one of the "Most Influential Celebrity" in the Hispanic market.
After the devastating earthquake in Chile in 2010, Felipe organized the event "Miami Helps Chile", where artists such as Luis Fonsi, Cristian de la Fuente, among many others came together to raise funds for the foundation "Un Techo Para Mi Pais", which helped all those affected by this natural disaster.
He discovered theatre and acting at a young age while living in London and soon after he moved to Chile, where he made his TV debut in the telenovela, "Top Secret," on the country's most important network and since then starred in "El Amor Está de Moda," "Eclipse de Luna," and "Amándote." Additionally, he worked as host for "La Mañana del 13" and had his own radio show.
After moving to the U.S., Felipe was a correspondent in Miami for GenTV and Channel 13, interviewing celebrities like Alejandro Sanz, Al Pacino and Samuel L. Jackson, among many others. He also was the general director for "Pase la Tarde" on Radio Caracol.
Felipe has been on the list of People en Español magazine's "50 Most Beautiful."
