Robert has over 36 years of experience as a Production Sound Mixer and Boom Operator; including 2 Contributing EMMYs for Netflix's 'Stranger Things' and HBO's Award Winning Series 'The Watchmen'. He contributed to Marvel's EMMY nominated Series 'Hawkeye', Starz wrestling series - 'Heels', HBO Max's Series 'DMZ', CBS TV's 'MacGyver', CW's, 'Naomi', contributions to YouTube's 'Cobra Kai', and other contributions for Warner Brother's 'Stargirl', CW's 'Legacies', and the feature film, 'O'.
He won two Contributing Emmy's for his mixing work on Stranger Things, and for HBO's 'Watchmen'. He was on the team that for three years in a row was Cinema Audio Society (CAS) nominated Outstanding Mixing for 'The Walking Dead', three years for 'Stranger Things, and for HBO's 'Watchmen''. He was part of the team that was Oscar nominated for 'Best Sound in a Motion Picture' for 'Twister'.
Aside from being a Production Sound Mixer, Robert was the Boom Operator for 4+ seasons on 'The Walking Dead', and most recently on 'Stranger Things' and Pitch Perfect 3. He is a film veteran with over 90+ motion picture credits since 1986. He has also served on numerous panels, been published in several magazines, been interviewed on TV and Radio, and traveled the country teaching people about 'The Art and Craft of Motion Picture Recording Sound'. He is also the Author of two upcoming books, 'The Boom Operator - Take 1 and Take 2.
