Brendan Gabriel Murphy is a multi-award winning filmmaker (p.g.a) and co-founding member of Altered
State Entertainment. He's been profiled in Variety, Deadline, Rolling Stone Magazine, The Hollywood
Interview, H-Magazine & The Top 100 Indie Filmmakers In The World for his achievements as a Director. His
ground-breaking short film, "SWERVE," starring actor Shiloh Fernandez (THE ODYSSEY, EVIL DEAD, RED
RIDING HOOD) and Juno Temple (TED LASSO, FARGO), won 5 prestigious festival awards and signed 3
distribution deals. Brendan's feature film directorial debut, "#LUCKY NUMBER" starring Wu-Tang Clan's
Method Man (POWER BOOK II, SHAFT) and Tom Pelphrey (OZARK, MANK) signed a worldwide distribution deal
with Vision Films. He also directed "HISTORY'S GREATEST HEISTS" starring Pierce Brosnan which airs on the
History Channel and "UFO WITNESS" for Discovery+. He has directed ad campaigns for KANE Watches in
Europe and Asia, filming in Amsterdam, Netherlands and Kyoto, Japan. He also co-directed branded content
for NIKE Training, Amazon Prime Video & Leyline Games. He has directed NBC, FOX and CBS Network
Campaigns, working with Series Regular TV stars and high level Network Executives. "FLUXX" a
psychological thriller that he co-wrote, produced and directed, and stars Tyrese Gibson (FAST & FURIOUS,
1992) and Shelley Hennig (OBLITERATED, TEEN WOLF) comes out in theaters May 30th, 2025. The film has
won 12 festival awards to date and just signed it's North American distribution deal with The Forge. Most
recently Brendan co-directed "THE TAILOR OF SIN CITY" which is currently streaming on AMC+. He also
wrote and directed the western thriller "BLOOD BEHIND US", starring Michael Madsen (RESERVOIR DOGS,
KILL BILL) and Jaime King (SIN CITY, OCEAN'S EIGHT). The film is currently finishing post-production and will
be released globally in 2026. Furthermore, Brendan has a scripted TV Show, "THE GOOD HURT" in
development with Live Nation Productions. He begins production on his next feature film, "Nocturnal", a
psychological horror, in Europe summer 2025. Brendan is repped by Zero Gravity Management.
