The founder of Elysian Pictures, Chris Armstrong has a passion for
film, a love of story, and an acute sense of visual perfection as a
writer-director. With an assortment of productions solely under his
name, he has also attained a variety of experience in all aspects of
development and production on countless films. Chris Armstrong is in
development on multiple feature films including a romantic comedy and a
Sci-Fi thriller.
He Wrote & directed 2009's "Doritos Crash the Superbowl" Finalist Ad "The Chase", which was shown as part of the Super Bowl Ad Reel for "The CBS Morning Show", "FOX LA Morning Show", "Hannity's America on FOX News" and many other TV and cable shows. The ad was judged by an independent jury formed by Doritos and beat out nearly 2000 other entries to be a Top Five Finalist winning $25,000. The commercial spot has since been picked up by Doritos to air on national TV as part of their 2009 campaign.
In 2008 Chris was one of faces of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference in Las Vegas. NAB is the largest international convention for film, television, and media content and technology. His image appeared on billboards and in magazines such as High Def, DV, and POST.
