Yablochkin Boris

Boris Yablochkin, born in Yekaterinburg (former Sverdlovsk), Russia (then USSR). Boris has been a motion picture enthusiast since childhood, but the family could not afford a film school. He enrolled in a public vocational school with a specialization in economics but dropped it after one semester. He then went on to work in a video store for many years, dreaming of making his own films one day. Boris made his first foray into filmmaking aged 20, without success. For the next 10 years, he would not attempt anything creative again. Boris has been writing novellas and scripts, mainly sci-fi and horror, since he was a student. For the last few years, Boris has been involved in the film industry as a screenwriter, a first assistant camera, a lighting technician, and a props master on sets where short films, advertisements, and music videos were made. He has shot a couple of music videos for local artists as well as a series of making-of videos about the short film Buried (which, unfortunately, remains unreleased). In the summer of 2021 he began filming his debut short film "Prank"
