Exclusive: Underbelly has added two to its cast, with Lucian-River Chauhan and Kate Corbett signing on to the twisty crime drama. Cameras are rolling on the series, which is for Canadian streamer Crave.

Underbelly stars Stephen Amell as a cop in the 1000 Islands region that straddles Canada and the U.S. His character, Officer Henry Roland, finds evidence linking a case he is working on to his childhood best friend, Tommy Hawley, played by Hamza Haq.

Chauhan will play the younger version of Tommy in the six-episode series. He starred in Apple TV+ supernatural drama Me, which bowed earlier this year. His other credits include Amazon’s Encounter and Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Kate Corbett will also appear, and play a character called Liv. Little else is known about her part at this point. Her credits include Canadian procedural Coroner and indie movie The Righteous.

Just as The Blacklist Season 10 had begun to get us excited, the show went on a two-week break, but we are back to the regular schedule this Thursday.

Beginning June 1, the show, which currently airs on Sundays at 10 pm, will move to Thursdays. Back-to-back episodes will air that night, June 1, at 8 pm and 9 pm, with subsequent episodes airing weekly at 8 pm.

This marks one final scheduling move for the longtime utility player — its 11th — to a night where NBC originally slotted the show as a power play in February 2015. There are only about a handful of weeks left of The Blacklist, and those remaining episodes will be airing on a different night. NBC has announced that the James Spader-led drama is moving to Thursdays at 8/7c (from Sundays at 10/9c), beginning on June 1. That night, back-to-back episodes will air at 8/7c and 9/8c. Furthermore, the series finale is set for two hours on July 13, starting at 8/7c. On June 1, first up is “The Hat Trick,” in which, in an effort to prove their worth to Congressman Hudson, Red (Spader) provides the Task Force with three criminal cases that are deeper than they appear. Though the Freelancer, Alban Veseli (Daniel Sauli) found a place under Wujing’s wing in this season’s premiere episode, “The Night Owl,” the former blacklister went to the backburner while Wujing focused on breaking Dr. Laken Perillos (Laverne Cox) out of prison in order to bring Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq) under her power and squeeze information about the Task Force from him.

The first time Dr. Laken Perillos (Laverne Cox) attempted to break Dembe Zuma’s (Hisham Tawfiq) body and spirit on The Blacklist season 8 episode 10, her opportunity was cut short when Dembe busted out the arm of the chair that he was strapped to and escaped. Raymond Reddington (James Spader) gave himself up in exchange for Dembe’s freedom just before Dembe managed to flee Dr. Laken Perillos, her Heretic’s Fork and toxic jellyfish juice. Dr. Perillos took a turn torturing Red as well but was interrupted and strapped to the table herself when Dembe found the new location and rescued Red. Dembe and Red made a big mistake by letting Dr. Perillos be taken into custody by the FBI because Dr. Laken Perillos lives and hasn’t forgotten the only two men she couldn’t break.

The Blacklist hits a milestone that few shows get the chance to — its 200th episode — on March 19. And it celebrates by bringing the laughs, as you can see in TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek. Right in the middle of the drama, Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) returns to Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) in the van with their food. “I’m starving, what took so long?” Ressler complains. Dembe blames it on the long lines and unpacks the bag. But “these are French fries, I ordered onion rings,” Ressler reminds him. “I told them onion rings, they must have made a mistake on the order,” Dembe insists… as he eats an onion ring himself. "I think if the show went beyond this year, it would turn into a very different show," Spader told NBC in a recent interview.

"The thing that has been nice about this show was that we've never really had a really clear paradigm for the show."

"Tonally, the show shifts a lot from episode to episode, and I think that even the show has taken strange turns," he added.
