Kina studied Acting and Theatre with Wynn Handman, at The Williamstown Theatre Festival, Central Connecticut State University, Primary Stages, Improv and Sketch with The Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC and Los Angeles, On-Camera with Annie Grindlay, Ted Sluberski, Bob Krakower, Scott Sedita, Brad Garrett, and at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (formerly The School for Film and Television).
She has performed on stages (and in parks) all over New York City including 59E59 Theatres, The Flea Theater (BATS company member), St. Ann's Warehouse, The Drama Dept, Primary Stages, Blue Man Group, Caroline's On Broadway, The Brick Theater, Gorilla Repertory Theatre (company member); in Los Angeles she has performed at Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, iO West and marveled critics with her performance of 10 characters in the play "Tell Mr. Poulos" at The Dorie Theater.
Kina acted in and directed one of the earliest productions of the play "Almost, Maine" when, as an Acting Apprentice, she brought the manuscript to The Williamstown Theatre Festival and expanded the cast from 4 to 12 actors. Her production was supported by playwright John Cariani who later cast her in his directorial version at The Shadowland Theatre. While at Williamstown, she also played the lead in "Hot 'N' Throbbing directed by JC Lee.
Kina is often recognized for her work in National Network commercials, but her voice has also been heard on campaigns for clients like Allstate, Johnson & Johnson, Chapstick, Citibank, Capital One, Dunkin' Donuts, Wendy's, Subway, Sabra Hummus, Keds, Mattel, Comcast, Boost Up, Ace Hardware, Walmart, Kotex, L'Oreal, Clairol, Head N Shoulders, Hampton Inn, Vonage and many, many more. In commercials she has worked with directors Craig Gillespie, Patrick Daughters, Dave Laden, Antonio Campos, James Rouse, Roderick Fenske, Sam Bayer, Christine Jeffs, Phil Janoue, Paul Riccio, Max Gutierrez, Chris Hooper, and Christian Hoagland among others.
In addition to acting, Kina has an entertainment background in producing, casting and production. She is a Professional Organizer and Fashion Stylist. She works in Los Angeles and New York City.
