Mateo Palmitier grew up in Jenison, MI before making the move to Nashville, TN. Beginning his career at the age of 18, Mateo joined the national production of Hairspray prior to attending college where he studied music at Western Michigan University & Belmont University.
In 2013 Mateo released his debut EP, A Call to Arms, while also singing alongside notable acts such as Russell Dickerson, Judah & the Lion, CeCe Winans, Laura Bell Bundy, & many more. Shortly after Mateo's entry into the music industry he journeyed into the world of humanitarian aid, splitting his time between the states & life abroad.
Mateo made the transition from the studio & the stage to the screen in 2023, joining films such as The Threesome, alongside Jonah Hauer-King & Zoey Deutch, & TV shows like Fatal Attraction & American Detective.
Mateo's first full-length album, Recovery, is set to release in fall of 2024, shortly after his upcoming run in the musical, Waitress.
