Nan Cardoso

Nan Cardoso is an actress and comedian who was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She studied at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre. After leaving college, she joined United States Air Force where she met her husband and added on to her family with three children. Nan has lived all over the United States and overseas and primarily worked in educational fields over the years. Upon moving to Hawaii, she began to pursue her acting ambition after a long hiatus. She actively worked on her acting and comedy crafts by pursuing myriad opportunities. Nan has booked several commercials and has been in numerous independent short films with supporting and principal roles. Nan has a recurring principal role with Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre and has been featured on several episodes of NCIS Hawaii, Magnum PI, and Doogie Kamealoha, MD. She trains regularly and has taken classes in TV Film, Acting for Stage, Scene Study, Audition Technique, and Stand -Up Comedy. It was during her venture into comedy classes, that she discovered an untapped talent and passion for Stand-Up Comedy. Nan has enjoyed great success in stand-up comedy in Hawaii and now in Washington DC, she has performed in several comedy shows as a featured and headlining comic.
