Klaartje is a Dutch Actress who starred in regional and international TV series. Her short film 'Can You See Me?' was selected as a finalist in the Los Angeles International Screenwriting Awards.
Alongside her writing, she has dedicated her life to advocating for animal welfare. Having rescued and adopted 15 animals herself, she has assisted countless animals and their owners worldwide. She even traveled to Australia to work with horses featured in the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean."
Klaartje pursued Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, studies Acting (Meisner and Chubbuck) at TAPA in Belgium and undertook various writing and directing courses.
She is writing a book series 'The Last Lightkeeper' (De Laatste Lichtwachter, Dutch) and developing a screenplay for a new TV series. Klaartje is a member of the 'Scenaristengilde' in Belgium.
