East London based writer-director, Jaspreet Grewal has been making
films since 1996 and specialises in genre cinema, the crime-thriller in
particular. Despite graduating with a BSc in Economics in 2001, Grewal
spent his free time during his degree years making several short films
including 'It Ain't Just You, Kul' and 'Death's Head'. These efforts
culminated in the 16mm feature 'Give and Take, and Take' (2003).
Continuing under his shingle Troubled Children Films, and freelancing
on other projects, Grewal shows no sign of letting up.
