Shortly after graduating from University in 1999, earning a degree in business and psychology, Galit McCord was hired as a co-producer on a major Hollywood film, starring Antonio Banderas. Upon completion of the film, Galit relocated to Germany, where she was given a producer's deal at Babelsberg Studios, one of the oldest motion picture studios in the world. In 2001 Galit became a founding partner in SRO Entertainment GMBH, where she was instrumental in raising 980 million euros to finance the VIP Media fund - a German tax shelter company dedicated to making high-quality, international motion pictures. Galit and her partner's efforts ended up with the production of dozens of films including the Oscar-winning motion picture Monster, starring Charlize Theron, Havoc, starring Anne Hathaway, Black Book, and The Company, starring Neve Campbell, and directed by Robert Altman. In 2004 Galit co-produced "Ask The Dust", with Tom Cruise, directed by Robert Towne, and starring Salma Hayek and Colin Farrell.
In 2014 Galit was named the VP of development for Limelight Entertainment. Developing material for both TV and Motion pictures, Galit's efforts resulted in the film Reagan, starring Dennis Quaid, to be released in 2024, and Dirty Angels, directed by Martin Campbell, which is presently in post-production.
