- Ann-Christine was discovered in 1961 during a performance at the Kulttuuritalo in Helsinki and was immediately offered a recording contract.
- She chose to end her musical career in 1973 after 11 years in show business moved to work in a bank , and has been living in Stockholm, Sweden, since 1976.
- In spite of Swedish being her native language she recorded all her songs in Finnish or English.
- She was a Finnish singer who performed in the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 for Finland with the song "Playboy".
