She is a Soviet-Russian singer of Jewish descent most known for representing Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest Dublin 1994 (1994) held in Dublin, Ireland. It was the first Russian performance in this contest ever. She finished with 9th place out of 25 contestants in the contest.
