British director Andrew Douglas began his career in
Antony Armstrong-Jones Snowdon's photographic studio. He was
a magazine photographer for Esquire and The Face and then a director of
music videos and commercials. His 2003 documentary, Searching for the
Wrong-Eyed Jesus, won a Royal Television Society award. He made his
movie debut with
The Amityville Horror (2005),
the terrifying remake of the 1970s horror classic.
