Biography

Originally from Switzerland, Tom Schneider moved to the United States in his early twenties following the completion of his studies at Business School, where he honed his expertise in finance. Tom furthered his education at Full Sail University in Florida, earning a degree in Video and Film Production.

As a filmmaker, Tom has directed and produced multiple successful short films and two independent feature films. "Souffle D'Ailleurs," a comedy shot in Québec was produced with the support of the National Film Board of Canada. Tom's second feature, "The Willing," filmed in the desert of Palm Springs, earned prestigious accolades, including an "Accolade Award of Merit," a "CINE Golden Eagle Award", and the title of "Best Feature Film" at the 2013 Honolulu Film Awards.

In 2014, Tom co-founded the Hawaii Filmmakers Collective (HFC) alongside Kainoa Rudolfo. Serving as a non-profit organization, HFC champions independent film production in Hawaii, a cause Tom actively supports as the current president of the board.

Alongside his film work, Tom produces video content for incentive programs and corporate events internationally. Since 2020, he owns Maui Total Visual, a photography and video production company based in Las Vegas and Hawaii.
