Tom Moore is a retired American film writer, producer, and director. Moore produced and directed more than a hundred TV commercials and multi-episode video series, but is best know for "Return to Boggy Creek" (1977).
Moore worked in the Texas area with Director Charlie Pierce as a Line Producer on four films. The two met each other while working at a small TV station in El Dorado, Arkansas. Moore worked with Dave Woody to co-write "Return to Boggy Creek", directed and co-produced it.
Moore produced and directed TV commercials, winning the CLIO award for Best TV Commercial four times. For several years, he produced and directed the Foley's Thanksgiving Day Parade for ABC.
In the 90's and 00's, Moore produced documentaries and multi-episode video series for churches. Cited for accomplishments as a Christian businessman, in 1993 Moore was honored with a Doctor of Laws degree by the International Christian University of Vienna - Prague - Kiev.
