Hany Shenouda is an Egyptian composer and music arranger. He graduated from the Faculty of Music Education in 1966, then he joined the Higher Institute for Music "Conservatoire". In 1977, he founded and led one of Egypt's first bands, Al Massrieen. Shenouda played a major role in discovering several notable singers. He was the first to introduce Mohamed Mounir in his debut album (Alemony Eneeki), and also discovered Amr Diab, bringing him from Port Said to Cairo. Throughout his career, he composed over 900 tracks, including music scores and songs for numerous Egyptian films.
