Athina was trained in the Venezuelan military in Fuerte Tiuna and also in Japan in one of the most renowned Kendo schools in Tokyo.

Athina intensified her training for the Netflix TV series by NBCU Telemundo Enterprises, El Senor de los Cielos, season 7, in martial arts, kickboxing, selfdefense and tai chi. Her kicks are a highlight in her fighting scenes.

Athina lives since 15 years in the USA/Miami where she works also for the Miami Symphony Orchestra as a co producer together with her husband, conductor
and music director Eduardo Marturet, when she is not working as an actress in film projects.
