Mark C Schwarz was born in Royal Oak, Michigan just before the "Summer
of Love" and the Detroit Riots of 1967. He grew up in Orchard Lake,
Michigan, making Super 8 movies and claymation epics with his childhood
friends before attending Grand Valley State University where he
received a Bachelor's of Sciece Degree in Communications-Film/Video in
1990. After graduation, he began working in the film production/writing
end of automotive marketing in Detroit for six years. At this time, he
also acted as Associate Producer on the feature film "Dark Heaven"
(2004) and taught screen writing classes at the Motion Picture
Institute of Michigan. He held down double duties of Independent
Filmmaker and Project Manager for his family business for over 14
years. He resides in Sylvan Lake, Michigan with his wife Katrina and
his son, Alexander
