Garry Judd is a composer who works in film and television.
His music has been played by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Courtney Pine, Leslie Howard, Finn Peters, Guy Pratt, John Etheridge and The London Community Gospel Choir to name but a few.
His skills include creating original music using electronic instruments to full orchestra, writing to picture, and 5.1 surround sound recording. He has written for over 150 film, TV, radio and other media productions. Two features he scored are currently on theatrical release and his television credits include programmes for the BBC, ITV, Channel Four, NBC, ABC, RTÉ, NTV, Nat Geo, Discovery and Sky. His music is broadcast regularly throughout the world, and available for download and streaming. His distinctive musical voice is warm but edgy, and is made with orchestral and electronic sounds.
Garry is based at Tumbledown Studio, based in the grounds of a Grade II listed rural thatched cottage dating to 1580, where he works surrounded by cats, chickens and ducks.
Tumbledown offers a fully equipped music to picture, 5.1 surround scoring and mastering facility which can link up to musicians and even whole orchestras anywhere in the world.
As well as keyboards, Garry plays guitar, bass, and assorted woodwind and has even tried his hand at the Neverlur (Viking Long Horn).
