Eduard Chekmazov is a Russian theater and film actor. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. After graduating from school, he worked in his city at a factory, tried different professions - he was a fitter, a welder, a turner. He was an actor at the Ryazan Youth Theater. Then he moved to Moscow, where he entered the Moscow Art Theater School. In 1996 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School, course of Lev Durov. Collaborated with the International Theater Agency 'Art-Partner XXI'.
Since 1996, he has acted in films, making his debut in the film 'Strawberry Cafe'. The role of Roman Kazaryan in the criminal detective story MUR est MUR (2004), in which he starred in 3 seasons, became noticeable.
