Jyotirmaya Dash also knows as JD is born and Brought up at Puri, Odisha, India. He completed his B-Tech in Fashion technology from College Of Engineering and Technology(CET) Bhubaneswar. He started his career as a Costume Designer and Stylist from the Movie Kaaunri Kanya (Odia) in 2013. After that he worked as a freelancing fashion designer in Odisha till 2017 before Moving to Mumbai. In Mumbai he Joined Apparel company Raymond. There he worked for 2 year. In 2019 he resigned from his job to pursue his career as a script writer and Director. After working in Mumbai for 3 years, he returned to Odisha. In Odisha he started working as a script writer and assistant director before debuting as a Director in his 1st Short Movie Akankshya.
