Voltage Pictures has added horror-thriller The Curse Of Rosalie to its Cannes market slate ahead of the market next month.
The film follows a couple who move their troubled young daughter, played by Madeleine McGraw, to a quaint Midwestern town. Soon after they arrive, neighbours start to die. Fearing an evil entity has followed them and possessed Rosalie, the parents visit a Native American seer and resolve to do whatever it takes to free Rosalie’s soul.

Exclusive: Faith-based drama Hunter’s Creed (previously known as Hunting God), starring Duane “Dog” Chapman (Dog The Bounty Hunter), has scored a North American deal with Cinedigm.
The story follows a man who loses his wife and reunites with his church buddies to film the hunting show they’ve always wanted to make together. John R. Leonetti (“Annabelle”) is attached to direct from a screenplay by Alex Greenfield and Ben Powell. “Lullaby” begins shooting in Toronto on March 24.
Alcon will fully finance the feature with Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove serving as producers. Rooted in folklore, “Lullaby” follows a new mother who discovers a lullaby in an ancient book and soon regards the song as a blessing but her world transforms into a nightmare when the lullaby brings forth the ancient demon Lilith.
Kosove and Johnson said, “’Lullaby’ is based on a uniquely original idea that draws inspiration from varied rich and often terrifying mythological accounts.

Producers of the movie Chicago Overcoat will air seven short films on Chicago Cable Access 25 on September 21st and 28th at 8:00 pm.

The seven short films were shot from 2004-2006 by the filmmakers while they studied film & video at Columbia College Chicago. Although the films were privately screened for their respective casts and crews in 2007, they are just now being made available for the public.
“It was the Shorts Collection that brought us all together,” says director Chris Charles. “We learned our craft shooting short films at Columbia, and applied all those lessons to the commercials and features we produced after college.”
The 16mm and 35mm films cover a variety of genres and plots, but all share one thing in common: they were shot here in Chicago with local cast and crew. They range in running time from about 3-8 minutes,...
