Dylan Reid is a multi-award-winning Composer, Producer, and Musician from Naarm/Melbourne. He is best known for his idiosyncratic blend of acoustic and electronic textures, as well as his diverse array of past collaborators.
He recently obtained a Bachelor of Composition. It was during this time that he worked on multiple short films, animations, installations, and circus acts. Many of these works would go on to be nominated for and win several awards. Said works have been screened and performed at ACMI, The Astor, Village Cinema Drive-Ins, St Kilda Festival, Hamer Hall, and the Spiegeltent, to name a few.
His compositional style can be described as organic, sincere, and deliberate. Often working in unique ways, he regularly incorporates such elements as tape loops, homemade instruments, and found sound into his compositions.
