Jon Liggett (better known as Yawn) is an American-trained actor. Growing up in the Bay Area with a creative hippie family, he performed with the world-class Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, becoming a Drum Corps International World Champion.
After graduating from the prestigious Foothill College-Conservatory, he studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Attended San Francisco State University, achieving a degree in theater. He was a part of a documentary on "Behavior and Physical Actions" based on Sonya Moore's teachings.
Assistant directed a comedic short, which debuted at the November 2006 (Chicago Reeling Film Festival).

He is at the moment working as a voice-over artist narrating books.
